It is getting hot, hot, hot where I live! I promised myself back in the winter with our record-breaking snow that I wouldn’t complain about warm temperatures. So instead, I’m just going to keep my mouth shut and work on finding clothes that can help me beat the heat.

This maxi dress from SWAK is super comfortable. It’s like pajamas, but perhaps even comfier. For reference, I’m wearing the 3X and am 5’10. I wasn’t so sure when I put it on if I’d like it or not as the material is very thin and can be clingy. After I saw the photos though, I love it. I somehow have lost all my Spanx (seriously, how does that happen?) so I’m not wearing any shapewear here but would be more comfortable with a light layer underneath as the fabric can be quite sheer when it’s stretched. If you have a slip, that would work also. The straps were just about the same width of my bra straps, so if you’re worried about that, I’d suggest a navy bra or maybe strapless. Also note, the back is quite exposed but you can still wear a normal bra with it.
