How’s everyone doing? I’m on #milestreak day 11! I have either walked or ran an extra mile a day since I announced the challenge. I love the extra nudge trying to keep a streak gives me. It’s fun.
This morning Evan and I even walked in the rain to school. That’s how addicted we are to walking now.
Ok, that’s all I have tonight. I just wanted to pop in and share my journal and see how everyone was doing.

Food Journal
- 7:30 a.m. Post-workout Recover Shake (1 scoop)
- 8:25 a.m. Greek Yogurt topped with sunflower seeds, cocoa nibs, chia seeds, hemp hearts and maple syrup. It was like a seed explosion and a wonderful bunch of texture!
- 10:15 a.m. Stomach growling – grabbed some cashews and dried apricots <– it’s a great combo if you never tried it!
- 1 p.m. Split chicken nachos with The Husband (no sour cream) and had a grilled chicken salad dressing on the side.
- 7 p.m. Black Bean and Beet Burger with Feta over greens <– I had some of these patties leftover in the freezer and I forgot how good they were! The heat up wonderfully too. I also experimented and cooked butternut squash on the grill. WOW was that good. I’ll share more on GreenLiteBites asap!
- 9 p.m. a couple of Light Mikes Hard Lemonade and some popcorn made like this while watching Taken 3.
