Under Attack!

56527240

If you’ve received an error visiting here, GreenLiteBites or FitBloggin‘ the last few days it was probably a result of a DoS (Denial of Service) attack that’s been happening.

Thankfully, I have a server admin on retainer to help me deal with these types of issues as I don’t have the skill set nor experience to manage all this server-side stuff. This is the side of blogging that’s no fun. I’d much rather just focus on content and design. The hosting and server-side crap is more of a thorn in my side except when I’m dealing with security and some jerk (or jerks) who are basically trying to destroy everything I built and gain access to my sites, then it’s like someone is stabbing me with a knife.

Ugh.

Of course all this has to happen in the middle of book promotion and conference planning. Then again is there ever a good time for it to happen?

I’ll never understand why people do stuff like this.

  • 3 p.m. Another hard meal to explain… I was hungry and my fridge is full of leftovers. So I improvised and topped some cooked spaghetti squash with leftover baked beans. It’s actually quite delicious. :)
